My CPU fan makes a very unpleasent and irritating noise! Can you help me out of it?

When I start my computer, my CPU fan makes a lot of noise. This noise is generally produced only at the starting and when the windows opens, it stops to make that noise. So the problem lies at the start-up point of my CPU! Can you suggest me something, so that my CPU fan stops to bother me anymore?
